Christmas Break

So what do students do for an entire week?
___For some students at Northern the week of vacation after Christmas day is blank on the calendar; it is a time to relax and hang out. For others it is a time to travel.
___Let’s take a look at what the buzz is about over plans during Christmas break.
___One group of students plan to travel to Canada with their church for Youthquest, a national youth conference that has drawn students in as far as California. Students who attend Brethren in Christ churches have anticipated this event for months now. For some, it was the perfect Christmas present.
___Other students and their families decided the weather is too cold up here and are traveling south and to decorate a palm tree at the new Harry Potter World in Orlando, Florida.
Other kids are traveling to New York City to see a Broadway show, which could always be the way to go when asking for a Christmas present! Sometimes memories can be worth more than gifts.
___Other students thought it was better to stay at home and spend time with family, which is often the best way to spend vacation after all. Regardless of where you go or what you do, it is always important to spend time with family over the holidays, and that is one Christmas joy that most students delight in over break.
___Hope you had a great Christmas and enjoyed your vacation! |
