Today I woke up and thought "Ugh, it's Monday," but was happily reminded that it's actually Wednesday! It is, however, the first day of school for the week. President's Day and some freezing rain cut this school week short. Because of the four-day weekend, we will only have a three-day Easter break. Both the Thursday before and the Monday after Easter will be spent in school as snow make-up days.

If you are interested in some entertainment, come out to the Man Pageant where Mr. Four Diamonds will be crowned. The event starts at 7 p.m. on Feb. 26 in the auditorium and $5 will get you a ticket to vote for who you think should win. Unlike some contests, instead of having judges, the winner will be chosen by the audience. Additional tickets for voting can be purchased for $1 each. All proceeds from the evening will go towards Four Diamonds. The contestants battling for the crown are: Vasili Alexopolous, Andrew Aumen, Brian Daggs, Chris Hudson, Timothy Jakubiec, David Tristan and Caleb Weaver. The night is sure to be full of laughs as the contestants perform talents and a group line dance. Come out and support a great cause!
