Purple Haze Easter
By Amy Kimmel
March 24, 2016 The
third marking period is wrapping up as students begin rushing to get
work in before the end of our four-day week. It's hard to believe it's
time for Easter already, but with warmer weather and the start of
spring, it seems fitting. We narrowly avoided some dreaded snow this
past weekend and so it seems we can now put away the shovels and get
out the yard tools.
Classes are
pulling into the homestretch, especially for the seniors. An official
date has been set for graduation. The ceremony will be held on June 9
beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Spring sports
have started up for the season with the warm weather providing optimal
practice conditions. Come out to support our many sports teams,
including track, lacrosse, boys tennis and volleyball.
This week during lunches, Key Club has been selling chocolate pretzels with all proceeds benefitting the March of Dimes.
Everyone is
looking forward to Easter break - if you can call three days including
the weekend a break - anxious to relax and spend time with family and
friends.
Have a Happy Easter!
