Signage of Citizens Bank, once fixed to the front of the building above the clock, now sits on the sidewalk, after workers removed it Wednesday morn- ing. The bank closed its doors Tuesday.
Citizens Bank of Dillsburg, located on the town square, closed its doors Tuesday, Jan. 14 at noon. Workers began the process of dismantling the signage on the building Wednesday morning. “We’ve been on a journey at Citizens to evolve how our customers bank with us, and we continually review customer patterns to evolve and adjust branch strategy across our network. We closed our branch at 4 South Baltimore Street in Dillsburg, January 14. We look forward to continuing to serve customers through our branches in Mechanicsburg and Camp Hill, as well as through our online and mobile banking platforms. Branches remain a key part of our overall strategy to help customers bank when, where and how they prefer, and we remain committed to supporting and engaging within the communities we serve,” Kathryn Balcerski, spokesperson for the bank said.
