Bartender Troy Holtzman pours an orange drop martini for servers Emma Schmitt, left, and Grace Lereuv, right, on the first day of business Tuesday as Range and Rye, formerly Greystone Brew House.
After being closed since December for rebranding and restructuring, the former Greystone Brew House at the Range End Golf Club off Mountain Road reopened for business on Tuesday with a new name and menu. Range and Rye opened its doors on a sunny day at 11 a.m. as golfers got a respite from the winter weather and started to welcome the arrival of Spring. “We are set up to serve customers outside,” new general manager and former Greystone bartender Tessa Hergenrother said in the late morning of Opening Day. At that time, co-owner and head chef Jason Viscount was busy in the kitchen with the new chef, Shane Blair, who formerly worked at the Yorktowne Hotel.
