Sunny day draws crowd to Dillsburg Pickle Fest

Beautiful drew a record crowd to the annual Pickle Fest and 5K Pickle Chase in downtown Dillsburg last Saturday, May 10. Hosted by the Dillsburg Community Association, an estimated 10,000 people came to the borough to participate in the festivities that featured vendors, music, crafts and contests. Two Dillsburg businesses sponsored the events. Local’s Market funded the Pickle Fest that featured more than 120 vendors and entertainment. The eciGroup financed the Pickle Chase. More than 120 vendors lined Greenbriar Lane from Harrisburg Pike to Baltimore Street. They offered hungry visi- tors tantalizing and unique culinary selections from pickle-flavored shaved ice treats to sandwiches featuring pickles as a prime condiment.
